Where's my cell phone?
American cell phones don't generally work in Europe, where they use a different system, unless they're pretty expensive. Nancy is kind of a cheapskate, so I'm guessing she doesn't have one of the fancy ones.
You can still make phone calls, though, by using the phone in Nancy's room. The only people you can call are Prudence Rutherford and Ned, who's often good for a hint if you're a junior detective.
