What's the difference between the gondola singers?
Not much. I thought at first that the more expensive ones were better singers, but there's not that much difference between Romano (5 euros) and Timoteo (15 euros). They're all pretty good at getting within spitting distance of the notes, but none of them are Pavarotti. Some of them aren't even Topo Gigio.
If you've got an ear for voices, you may notice that the songs get mixed around after a bit, and you're hearing Benito singing when you paid for Bruno. In fact, they may be completely random. If you want to spend all your money on gondolas, you'll eventually hear all the songs, but it takes a while and puts you through a lot of mediocre singing in the process.
