Nancy Drew 18: The Phantom of Venice Hints
How do I read Helena's postcards and notebook?
1 of 5: Use the same tactic you use to read anything in Italian.
2 of 5: Of course, the Italian-English dictionary won't help you this time; you'll need a German-English dictionary. After you look at the postcards once, you can buy the dictionary at the news kiosk in Piazzo San Marco for 20 euros.
3 of 5: You can read the postcards in your bedroom any time you want. You can't read the notebook until Helena leaves her desk, and after you buy the dictionary, the only time she does that is --
4 of 5: -- when Sophia asks you to do something to Helena's pen. So if you want to read that notebook, that's the time to do it.
5 of 5: All the same, you don't really need to read Helena's stuff. It's fun, but it's not required to finish the game.
