Wouldn't Nancy get immolated by the launch?
Oh, sure, if you want to talk real-life physics. But the entire set-up is goofy -- who would store their sensitive lab equipment, not to mention all those volatile chemicals, within the blast radius?
I think we'll just have to conclude that Nancy was protected by whatever it was that protected the lab from the blast -- and incidentally, whatever it was that kept the jetpack from setting her legs on fire when she was zooming around outside. Hey, maybe that's why Fiona keeps wailing: pain from third-degree burns on her backside from jetpack flames, what do you think?
