  • 1 of 3: Before you let go of the chemical, you need to make sure the arm is as far back into the bin as it will go.
  • 2 of 3: You also need to be sure there aren't any antagonistic chemicals nearby that will be touched when you open the arms. For example, that Hg next to the Category 2 bin will go off if you open the arms all the way inside the bin. That means you can't move that H2O until you get rid of the Hg.
  • 3 of 3: Finally, make sure you're moving the arms open and not closed, as I did a couple of times before I figured out my mistake. D'oh!
