Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy Hints
What's the difference between Junior and Senior Detective?
Junior detectives get a lot more help. They can get hints from Madame Isibeal, the fortune-telling machine in the castle, though they're not necessarily too helpful. In addition, several of the puzzles are simpler for juniors. And most helpful of all, juniors get a checklist to help them keep track of what tasks they have and haven't completed yet. In a game like this, it's easy to lose track of the things you haven't done yet.
Her Interactive suggests you play as a Senior the first time, but I find it more fun to play as a Junior the first time so I can pay more attention to the story, which is pretty good in this game. The second time, when I have a better idea where I'm going, I play as a Senior for the fun of the puzzles.
