Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy Hints
How do I arrange the wires?
1 of 7: What a mess! Man, if I were there I'd spend an hour untangling the wires. Read to the end of this hint for which plug goes where.
2 of 7: You can find a guide to how the wires should connect in the notebook labeled "Rocket Notes" on the table under the chart of the elements.
3 of 7: On page 2, there's a drawing of a rocket and a bunch of colored squares at the right. They show what wires go to which outlets -- for example, the grey wire goes to the yellow outlet.

6 of 7: But with a little attention to detail, you can work out that the purple wire goes plug 1, the black wire goes to plug 2, the pink wire goes to plug 5, the grey wire goes to plug 4, and the brown wire goes to plug 3. That means the final arrangement should be --
7 of 7: You can double-check whether you got the wires right by going to the launch panel (on the pedestal to the right of the rocket) and flipping the first switch. If the light is green, you're ready to go; if there's no light, you need to try again.
