Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy Hints
So who is the villain?
This is a real rarity in these games -- no actual villain, unless you want to get mad at Matt for goofing around and generally being the kind of guy who everyone thinks would do something so mean on purpose. But it's hard to stay mad at him when he feels so bad all by himself.
In the end, it was just a series of mishaps, coincidences, and misunderstandings. Matt found the secret passage in the nursery, then the crow startled him and he fell down a tunnel that then closed after him. Fiona found him down there and tried to help by throwing some of her food down to him, though we really don't want to ask what he's been using for a bathroom.
Kit seriously doesn't want Matt to marry Kyler, but he's a decent enough sort that he really wasn't trying to stop the wedding, and the sketch really was just doodling. He got the black eye when a tree branch whacked him as he and Matt were trying to rig yet another practical joke on Donal. Serves him right, I'm thinking. But if that's all it was, why did he lie about it to Nancy?
