2 of 10: -- you'll discover you need a glowstick to see underwater. Johnny has some to give, but he won't until you agree to program his GPS for him. Read all the way to the end of this hint for the complete solution.
3 of 10: This is going to be easier than it looks; I mean, at least you don't have to try to sail to all these places. You just have to do a little math, very simple stuff.
4 of 10: First off, if you look at the GPS, it shows where you're currently located on Dread Isle: N24 00, W73 24. Press Save to create a waypoint here.
5 of 10: Now look at the map Johnny gave you to see that heading written next to Dread Isle. It also shows the location of Half Moon Bay on San Salvador as N23 57, W74 30. Enter that information into the GPS and press Save to create a waypoint for it.
6 of 10: Now what does having those two numbers tell you? It tells you how to figure out all the headings on the map, if you know how to read it.
7 of 10: For example, Dread Isle is at 24 hours 00 minutes, and Half Moon Bay is at 23 hours 57 minutes. The two locations are exactly one square apart -- that is, Dread Isle is exactly on the red horizontal line, and Half Moon Bay is one square down from the red line. That means each square stands for 3 minutes.
8 of 10: Let's take Shipwreck Shoals. If the horizontal red line is 24 hours 00 minutes, and Shipwreck Shoals is two squares up from there, it's at 24 hours 06 minutes. See?
9 of 10: And a little counting will show you that the vertical red line is 74 hours 00 minutes. So the heading for Shipwreck Shoals is N24 03, W74 00. Enter that into the GPS and press Save, then look at the map to see the heading listed there.
