How do I solve the camel puzzle?

  • 1 of 7: This puzzle has two parts: first it's a jigsaw puzzle, and then it's a slider puzzle. Read to the end of this hint for specific solutions to both puzzles.
  • 2 of 7: First, the jigsaw part. You might think this was going to be easy, since several pieces are already in place and all the loose pieces are already right-side up. But!
  • 3 of 7: Since the next part of the puzzle is a slider, the picture you're trying to create isn't a nice picture of a camel. It's a picture of a camel cut into nine squares and shuffled around.
  • 4 of 7: For example, look at the pieces already in place. That one at the upper left is the camel's face, where a camel's face has no business. That means the pieces aren't necessarily going to be in logical places. Grrr!
  • 5 of 7: Here's the way the puzzle looks when you've finished the jigsaw part of it:
  • 6 of 7: Now for the slider part. I hate slider puzzles in general, but this one only has nine pieces, which makes it easier than most.
