Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships Hints
What's the difference between Junior and Senior detectives?
As with most of the Nancy Drew games, junior detectives have a lot more help in the game. They can get hints from Coucou the parrot by giving her a guava; if what Coucou says doesn't help much, at least it helps you keep track of the puzzles Nancy is stuck on. Juniors also have that invaluable checklist so they don't lose track of what puzzles they were trying to solve. Also, several of the puzzles are much tougher for seniors than they are for juniors. I'll give both solutions when there are two of them.
Her Interactive suggests you play as a Senior the first time, but I find it more fun to play as a Junior the first time so I can pay more attention to the story. The second time through, when I have a better idea of where I'm going, I play as a Senior for the fun of the puzzles.
