Who sabotaged the hose on Pete's car?
The evidence points to its being Scott -- remember that utility knife with the coolant on it you found in his office? The only confusion here is that Debbie says Scott sent Pete somewhere he shouldn't have been so he'd get into trouble. If that's the case, why bother slicing his radiator hose? And how on earth could Chase, local boy and expert mechanic that he is, look at that obvious knife-slice and say it was chewed by mice?
Well, it doesn't really matter, I suppose. Pete survived, and Scott was stopped. But the incongruity bothers me all the same.
