Nancy Drew 22: Trail of the Twister Hints
How do I move the prairie dogs?
1 of 7: As Debbie said, first you need to talk to Chase to get a dog-catching machine.
2 of 7: Once you have the completed machine, take it to the prairie dog village to the left of the scarecrow. Zoom in close, pull the machine out of your inventory, and start catching.
3 of 7: What's going on here is that the holes are connected. Watch the little boogers popping in and out for a while and see if you can tell which holes are connected -- though it's possible the connections are random and change with every dog you catch.
4 of 7: When you put the hose on one of the holes, it grabs any dogs who are currently poking their heads out of all the connected holes. If the connected holes aren't occupied, the machine loses suction, and one of the dogs you caught previously will escape, grrr.
5 of 7: I haven't found any useful pattern here, though there probably is one. Regardless, you can catch all the dogs just by being persistent.
6 of 7: That is, when you see several dogs pop up at the same time, use the hose on one of them and you'll likely catch all of them. Don't bother trying for just one dog, unless that's the only one left.
7 of 7: When you fill the boxes at left with prairie dogs, Nancy decides you're done, and you back away. Now all you have to do is find the little poops a new home.
