What should I use for bait?
1 of 6: You can use some of the corn and other grains piled up in the spots where you put the traps --
2 of 6: -- but these seem to be cartoon mice rather than the Mus musculus variety you meet in the real world, even though they're beautifully drawn and animated. What do cartoon mice eat?
3 of 6: Why, cheese, of course. Talk to Pa to see if he has any cheese you can use.
4 of 6: He doesn't, but he does have some cheese-flavored candy (ew) that might work.
5 of 6: Use your Pa Pennies to buy Moon Chunks candy. To use the candy as bait, place the trap, then click on the grocery bag that appears at the top left of the screen. All the candy in your bag will be displayed; just click on the one you want to use.
6 of 6: If you bait the trap, then back out of the puzzle before you finish it, your bait will have gone and you'll have to go back to Ma 'n Pa's to buy some more. So you might want to stock up on Moon Chunks -- you'll need at least three by the end of the game.
