Is there a way to get hints in the game?
If you're playing as a Junior detective, you can call the Hardy boys and ask for help with specific problems. They'll give you a vague push in the right direction that may or may not help. You get one hint per call; if you want more, you'll have to call again, heavy sigh.
Juniors and Seniors both can call the Hardy boys and P.G. Krolmeister, your employer in this case, just to talk about the case. There won't be any outright hints, but the conversation will tell you what things Nancy thinks are important, and sometimes that's all the nudge you need.
