Nancy Drew 23: Shadow at the Water's Edge Hints
How do I grade the homework in my teacher box?
1 of 5: This is something you can do if you want, but you don't have to to win the game. It will gain you an award at the end of the game, though.
2 of 5: In the green plastic box in Nancy's room, you'll find one folder with biographies of the five kids in Nancy's class. There is also a folder with the homework assignments they have turned in, and it's your job to grade their work.
3 of 5: To do this, pick up the homework folder and click on the "What's Your Name" tab to see the first day's work. Using the stamps at the left, mark each sentence either right (golden star, green checkmark, or purple smiley face) or wrong (red X or blue frownie face). Based on how many sentences they got right -- perfect spelling, perfect grammar -- put a stamp on the top of the page to the right of the student's name.
4 of 5: There will eventually be five tabs: What's Your Name, Family, On the Farm, At Home, and How Are You. They don't appear every day, but check the box anyway when you start the day, if you want to grade papers.
5 of 5: As far as I can tell, it doesn't really matter which of the stamps you use. I generally use the checkmark or the X on the sentences, then I use the star or the frownie face on the top of the page. But as far as I can tell, you'll still get the award if you make a mistake on these papers, as long as you put stamps on all the sentences and at the top of all the pages.
