What do I do with the stuff in the baskets?
1 of 4: The wicker baskets to the right of the mirror are where people put their things while they're in the baths. The baskets that are upright still have stuff in them, so look in all of them to see what you see.
2 of 4: One holds a sports trophy, and another a bunch of miscellaneous stuff from other games (mostly Nancy Drew 20, "Ransom of the Seven Ships"). One has a list of superstitions in Japanese culture; you should read it, but you don't have to memorize it.
3 of 4: The last basket holds a card with cartoon characters on it. There's no way to know what this goes to, but hold onto it. You'll find the same characters later in the game --
