Nancy Drew 23: Shadow at the Water's Edge Hints
How do I arrange the rocks?
1 of 5: There's a book nearby that will tell you which rock goes where.
2 of 5: In the lobby, there's a book about Kyoto gardens on a small table across from the front desk. That tells you what you need to know, but if you're still confused, read to the end of this hint for details.
3 of 5: The only difficulty of this little puzzle is that you can't see the rocks in three dimensions. You have to look closely to see that the rock you found by the lantern, for example, isn't just square; it's actually shaped like an upside down pyramid standing on its point.
4 of 5: The Ox Stone description is also a little vague. The other name for this one is "the Reclining stone." Look for a stone that sort of leans to one side, and that's your Ox.
