How do I track down the culprit?

  • 1 of 7: If you go to the place where the person is usually found --
  • 2 of 7: -- you'll find it unoccupied. Instead, go to someone one else in the ryokan who might know something about this whole mess.
  • 3 of 7: The only person you can find is Takae in Room 18. After you talk to her, go to the culprit's usual place.
  • 4 of 7: The culprit still isn't there, but there's something here that wasn't before, on the left.
  • 5 of 7: On the left work surface, you'll find a pink work order; use the phrasebook to translate it.
  • 6 of 7: It tells the person to do something in Room 33. That's where to look.
  • 7 of 7: Take the translated work order to uncover a remote control for the doors. So that's how they did the slamming door trick! Take that too, and let's go to room 33.
