What is Deirdre's deal?
She's a case, isn't she? I get the impression that the whole hating Nancy thing is just a game to her, a way of exercising her considerable intellect and wit at Nancy's expense, as if the pain other people feel at her cruelty is unimportant. Wow. She seems to be enjoying her life at the moment, but my experience suggests that at some point she's going to discover that she's alllllll alone in the world because everyone else has outgrown her childish little power trip and left her behind. At which juncture she can either learn to like being alone or grow the heck UP.
