Nancy Drew 25: Alibi in Ashes Hints
Is there a way to get hints in the game?
1 of 4: For Junior Detectives, there's a hint line on the cell phones (not available to Nancy until she retrieves her cell phone). It's not always extremely helpful, though it will often give you a gentle nudge in the right direction just by reading the questions.
2 of 4: The way they work is you click on the question and it gives you one unhelpful hint, then you go away and do something else, and eventually it will give you another hint. The hint regarding the hint hotline says hints will appear "as needed," which means you'll only see hints about puzzles you've discovered and haven't yet solved. It also means new hints appear when the hotline thinks you need another one, which isn't necessarily when YOU think you need another one.
3 of 4: There's also the Wiki -- that is, the computerized journal Nancy and her friends use to keep in touch. You can access this via the journal icon or via the cell phone. It has journal-type entries that won't tell you what to do next, but they will tell you what you've already done and what Nancy and her friends think are important items.
4 of 4: Stick with me, kid, and I'll see you home.
