Alexei's Alibi
1 of 7: Alexei says he was giving a talk at the River Heights Historical Society. I bet it was riveting.
2 of 7: That talk, if it happened, was a public event, so the Society would probably have advertised it. Let's check the local newspaper.
3 of 7: But if you look at the newspaper in the rack outside the antique store, it says --
4 of 7: -- that talk was cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Very suspicious! Let's ask Alexei about it.
5 of 7: You'll have to ask him repeatedly, but eventually he'll come clean and admit that --
6 of 7: -- he was trying to find and open the time capsule, the same one that is scheduled to be opened at the Anvil Days celebration. Why on earth would he want to do that?
