How do I open the locked drawer in the evidence locker?
1 of 6: Once you get the evidence locker open, you'll find three drawers, two open and one locked. There are things you need in all three drawers, but the top drawer --
2 of 6: -- includes a little book explaining how the lock of the middle drawer works. It's kind of hard to figure it out from that, though. Read to the end of this hint for step-by-step directions.
3 of 6: The goal is to light two of each color of light, just two and no more. So if you click on the top tab of the first "locking port" button, it lights one blue and one yellow light, and we're on our way. But naturally, that's not all there is to it.
4 of 6: As the manual says, "Side by side locking ports ... cannot use locking ports of the same color(s)." That means you can't have the same color lights lit up by two buttons that touch. That is, if one button lights red and blue lights, the next button can't light either of those colors. The "connection indicator" bar joining the two buttons will light up red if the colors don't work and green if they're good.
5 of 6: If you think you've got everything worked out but the drawer still doesn't open, look to see if you've got three of one color. Then it's time to start rearranging the lights again.
