Nancy Drew 25: Alibi in Ashes Hints
How do I get into the computer?
1 of 6: If you give it a try, you'll discover that it needs a password, of sorts. You'll find a note telling you how to work this password deal inside the locked evidence locker.
2 of 6: As the note in the top drawer said, you need to click on one number in each row and column. Read to the end of this hint for the solution.
3 of 6: In case it's not clear, the goal here is to have one of each number lit (1, 2, 3, 4 for juniors, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for seniors), but with only one number in each row and one in each column. Try clicking on a couple numbers and you'll see the difficulty pretty quickly.

5 of 6: Getting this kind of puzzle is, for me, a matter of trying all sorts of things to see what fits. Having started with the 1 in the first square and found that all possible combinations don't work, I'll then move on to the 3 in that same row and try all possible combinations there.
6 of 6: Losing your mind with this one? Me too. Other solutions may be possible, but here's what I came up with:
