Nancy Drew 25: Alibi in Ashes Hints
How do I get into the Old Town Hall?
1 of 7: After Nancy gets into the evidence locker --
2 of 7: -- she asks you to take a look at the fire alarm in the Old Town Hall to see if you can see anything odd. So take a ride to the Old Town Hall and see what you see.
3 of 7: The obvious way in is through the front door, but the combination of police tape across the door and the loud police radio sounds behind you make this a bad idea. Do you see another entrance?
4 of 7: Walk around to the left, where there's a pile of debris and a burnt-out hole in the wall. Now all you need is a way to clamber into that hole.
5 of 7: You don't have a ladder, but you don't need one; check out the nearby debris to see what you can use.
6 of 7: Click on the shutter and other stuff to the right of the hole to move it over, and you're in. But --
7 of 7: -- as I'm sure you know, in real life it would be EXTREMELY dangerous, if not suicidal, to enter a burned-out wreck of a building like this. The floors could collapse under you; the roof and walls could collapse on top of you; there could be live electrical wires, broken gas lines, poisonous fumes, and exposed nails, not to mention the general revolting stench of soaked charcoal and ashes. Why do you think the police put tape across the door?
