How do I collect a fingerprint?

  • 1 of 5: As Nancy said to Ned, there are fingerprint kits in her room, in the locked cabinet in the corner. Each of her friends should take one.
  • 2 of 5: The procedure is the same for every item. Once you get access to the item you want to dust for prints --
  • 3 of 5: -- click on it to zoom in close, and Nancy's friend will pull out the fingerprint kit. Click on the brush to pick it up, then dip it in the jar of black powder.
  • 4 of 5: Click the powder-filled brush on the item. If there's a viable print, it will show up as a dark black oval. Click on the roll of tape in the kit, then click it on the black oval. Voila! Fingerprint.
  • 5 of 5: Back out of the scene and give the print to Nancy. She'll take it from there.
