Nancy Drew 26: Tomb of the Lost Queen Hints
How do I solve the gods puzzle on the coffin?
of 10: It's pretty easy to manipulate the pieces in this puzzle and put whatever images you want into each slot. The trick here is knowing which gods go where.
of 10: Did you solve the coded hieroglyphic on the upper half of the coffin? Maybe it'll give you some help.
of 10: O-kay, that could be more helpful. Where are you going to find a "procession of gods" that are "under the protection of the heavens"?
of 10: You can spend a virtual hour looking through the tunnels, but you won't find it. What you need is --
of 10: -- in that upper room you can just glimpse in the main room.
of 10: Now that you know what gods go where, all you have to do is slide the pieces around until you get them in the right places.
of 10: I can't tell you step by step how to do this, because the gods start out in different places every time you play. But it's not really that hard to manipulate, once you know how to work them.
of 10: The trick here is to work both horizontal and vertical. For example, move the first column vertically until you have the right piece in the top slot, then move the horizontal row for the bottom slot until the right god goes into place.
of 10: For the next column, put the right god in place in the top slot by moving the column. Then, in order to avoid disturbing the rest of the correct slots, move the column one down, then put the god for the lower slot in the space just below the slot. Then you can move the column up one, and both slots will have the right god.
of 10: Here are the final layouts for the gods puzzle. But remember, this won't work until you've been in the upper room and seen the mural there.
