How do I open this new sarcophagus?

  • 1 of 14: Wow, what a spectacular gold coffin! This HAS to be someone special.
  • 2 of 14: Do you recognize the symbols on the buttons on the top of the sarcophagus? You've probably seen them before.
  • 3 of 14: If you played the board game Senet with Lily, you saw these same glyphs on the board. Let's go ask her what the symbols mean --
  • 4 of 14: -- if you can find her, that is.
  • 5 of 14: After you get rid of the cobra (if it was there), Lily is still away from her bed. Go back into the tomb, talk to someone, then go back to the residence tent, and Lily will be there to answer your questions now.
  • 6 of 14: That's helpful, but it doesn't tell you what order to press the buttons in. And you won't know that until near the end of the game --
  • 7 of 14: -- after you get into Lily's trunk.
  • 8 of 14: One of the things you found inside Lily's was the missing bit from Jon's notes. It says, "Rebirth precedes happiness. The three truths follow the light of Re-Atoum. Water flows at the end. Happiness before Re-Atoum." It's clearly referring --
  • 9 of 14: -- to the buttons on the golden sarcophagus. So all you have to do to figure out that order is solve this very small logic puzzle. Read to the end of this hint for the answer.
  • 10 of 14: If you recall (and it's in your journal too), rebirth = ankh, happiness = falcon, three truths = three dots, Re-Atoum = eye, and water = three wiggly lines.
  • 11 of 14: Water is at the end, so that one is sorted.
  • 12 of 14: Rebirth is before happiness, and happiness is before Re-Atoum, and the three truths are after Re-Atoum.
  • 13 of 14: So the order is rebirth, happiness, Re-Atoum, three truths, water, or --
  • 14 of 14: -- ankh, falcon, eye, dots, wiggly lines.
