of 9: -- you'll find that you need a way to get something electronic out of Niko's study without it getting zapped. And according to Ryan, what you need for this is a miniature Faraday cage. A Faraday box, in effect. Read to the end of this hint for step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
of 9: You can read more about Faraday cages in the blue book in your inventory. Remember the cage you were standing in when Ellie gave you a demo of the Tesla coil? That was a Faraday cage. You're going to be making a small version of that.
of 9: You need four items: a cardboard box, some metallic foil, a paper clip, and a binder clip.
of 9: Ryan gave you a box full of electronic components. You'll be using them later; what you need right now is the cardboard box.
of 9: For the metallic foil, go down to the photo lab and grab one of the empty silicon wafer wrappers from the cabinet. I thought those were mylar, but apparently they're foil.
of 9: And the two clips are available in the employee lounge, on the same desk where you got tape earlier.
of 9: In the lounge, put the cardboard box on the desk, then use the foil on it to wrap it up tight. Add a paper clip from the little bin at the back of the desk, then add a binder clip. Voila!
of 9: Take the box to Niko's study, and Nancy will use it automatically when the time comes.
