How do I design the circuit board?

  • 1 of 6: The goal here is to have every light lit by connecting them to one of the squares, which are power nodes of some sort. Read on for screenshots showing one way to do this.
  • 2 of 6: Amateurs don't necessarily need to connect every wire, but almost all of them will be used. Masters will use every wire.
  • 3 of 6: I usually start by looking for pieces that have only one possible connection, in the corners and along the edges.
  • 4 of 6: But sometimes you find you've work yourself into a corner when nothing seems to connect to anything. If that happens, it's time to go back to the squares and try rotating them differently.
  • 5 of 6: I suspect there are many ways to assemble the circuit board, but here's what worked for me:
  • 6 of 6: When you finish the board, back up and take the piece of paper issued by the computer. That's your circuit board design, not the actual board.
