Nancy Drew 27: The Deadly Device Hints
Where should I start?
1 of 8: If you go through the door you're looking at when the game starts, you'll be in the office of Niko, the man who died. That's where you need to start.
2 of 8: But there isn't too much to do there. At this point, you can't use the candy machine, you can't get into the bookcase, the pigeon is interesting but apparently pointless, and the voice recorder on the desk doesn't work. What was it Victor wanted us to do?
3 of 8: That's right, he said the police case file was locked in the desk. Go behind the desk to find the locked drawer.
4 of 8: The combination is 171943, which incidentally is the date of Nikola Tesla's death (January 7, 1943).
5 of 8: Once you've read the file, you might want to check in with anyone who's here. Two of them work days, two of them work nights --
6 of 8: -- so since you start during the day, that's Ryan in the workshop and Mason in the office area. But you can wait to do it tomorrow if you want.
7 of 8: In any case, if you want to talk to the other two staff members, you need to wait till nightfall. You'll need the clock in the lounge for that.
