How do I use the 3D printer?

  • 1 of 4: The 3D printer, which is located around to the right, is a very cool device that builds a three-dimensional object from nothing. All you need to use it is a three-sided drawing of the object (like the orthographic drawings you might remember from Nancy Drew  21, "Warnings at Waverly Academy"), a computer program, and a reason.
  • 2 of 4: Have you explored the Tesla coil lab yet?
  • 3 of 4: Once you do, you'll discover that the Tesla coil is missing a couple parts. One of them can only be created using the 3D printer.
  • 4 of 4: After you create the piece on Mason's computer and send it to print, come back down to the lab and press the "Print" button on the printer itself (at the left). The process takes 12 hours, so come back the next day/night and open the right side of the printer to get your piece.
