What is "fast convo" in the options menu?

  • A glorious thing that I wish every other Nancy Drew game had. It stands for "fast conversation." If you turn it on, it puts a little double arrow (>>) next to the subtitles; and if you click on the >>, it stops whatever is being said and moves on to the next item in the conversation. It turns all those endless blah blah moments into a quick precis. Blissful sigh!

    All the same, I wouldn't use it the first time through the game. It's too easy to miss important points that come at the end of a long sentence or from a person's tone of voice.
