Nancy Drew 29: The Silent Spy Hints
How do I solve the puzzle in the "Occupied" chair?
1 of 5: This is a fairly simple puzzle; your goal is to get all the yellow wedges in the top circle, red in the lower left, and blue in the lower right. Read to the end of this hint for a step-by-step solution.
2 of 5: Moving three of each color to its proper place is pretty easy. What you do is rotate a circle until the wedge you want to move is in the center circle, then rotate the center circle till that wedge is in the right place and rotate that circle to move the wedge out of the center circle.
3 of 5: The only difficult part is getting the wedges that stay in the center in the right order. Again, it's not too tough if you plan your moves a bit.
4 of 5: But me, I'm always impatient and don't really like thinking ahead. (I'm a really, REALLY bad chess player, if you hadn't guessed.) So read on for the fastest solution.
5 of 5: Turn the wheels in this order: Blue - center - blue - yellow - yellow - center - red - yellow - center. Voila!
