Nancy Drew 30: The Shattered Medallion Hints
Which mine shaft should I use?
1 of 3: You might think it's the one on the left, which has a patch of obvious ankerite, as seen in the book. However, if you use a pickaxe here, you might cause a cave-in and die. So stick with the right one.
2 of 3: Go into the tunnel and take the right fork, where you'll find some boring dirt with some baskets piled up next to it. That's the spot you want, and your clue is that Nancy says, "This looks like a good place to dig for gold!" Shame that doesn't happen in real life.
3 of 3: Use your pickaxe on the wall and grab the resulting basket o' dirt, and you're done.
