Nancy Drew 30: The Shattered Medallion Hints
What do I do with the plants when I have them all?
1 of 9: Go to the Field area and enter the area labeled "Stage 1 -- Flowers." In the hut with the Team Tui symbol, you'll find five pots for all your plants. Ah, but which plant goes in which pot? Read to the end of this hint for the answer.
2 of 9: Each pot has a picture, but they aren't pictures of the plants. You'll need the plant book you picked up from your tent, "Native Flora of New Zealand," to figure out where they go.
3 of 9: The one that's obvious, if you know the full name of the plant, is the orchid; it's a spider orchid, so it goes in the pot with a picture of a spider.
4 of 9: Now let's go back to the book. The Mount Cook lily is actually a white buttercup, it says. So put the lily in the pot on the right with the big yellow flower on it.
5 of 9: The fern is a waterfall fern, so it goes in the pot on the left with a waterfall on it.
6 of 9: Pikao is a grass that was used to weave baskets, so it goes in the pot with a basket on it.
7 of 9: Finally, the book says the kakabeak is related to the pea, so put it in the pot on the left with a pea and what looks like a green banana on it.
8 of 9: So from left to right, it's kakabeak (peas), fern (waterfall), orchid (spider), pikao (basket), and lily (buttercup). If you have them right, the front of the display opens to reveal your first medallion piece. Hurrah!
9 of 9: Now that you have your first medallion piece, take to the Base Camp and place it in the medallion display to the right of the confession booth, where you need to insert it in the Team Tui slot.
