Nancy Drew 31: Labyrinth of Lies Hints
How do I use the Lottery program?
1 of 7: The Lottery program is really just for fun. It's a match game with the twist that there are up to seven copies of each item, and you get the maximum score if you find all seven in a row. Which is pretty much impossible without cheating, actually. If you can reach a score over 200 before the timer runs out (2 minutes for amateurs, 1:15 for masters), you get free tickets to the play.
2 of 7: If you want to, well, cheat, here's how.
3 of 7: 1. Play the game in a window, not full screen.
4 of 7: 2. When you start the lottery program, the full board is shown for a moment. Click outside the window when this happens to freeze it.
5 of 7: 3. Take a screen shot and open it in Paint or a similar program. (How you do this depends on what version of Windows you're using.)
6 of 7: 4. With both windows open, go back to the program and just pick all the copies of each image. Voila! Instant winner --
7 of 7: -- of nine tickets to a play you won't be able to attend in any event, and Nancy can only sit in one seat and doesn't have eight friends in Greece who'll be here to attend. So not much of a prize, actually.
