The Mystery of the Nautilus Hints

The plate is in place, but it's not reflecting the beam.

  • 1 of 6: The plate isn't shiny enough to act as a mirror.
  • 2 of 6: You'll need to find some way to polish it.
  • 3 of 6: Use the polish on the plate.
  • 4 of 6: Polish alone isn't going to make the plate shiny enough.  You'll need to buff it out.
  • 5 of 6: Use the duster rag on the metal plate with the polish.
  • 6 of 6: You're now ready to shine the laser beam down the corridor.
