How do I control the elevator and the laser at the same time?
1 of 12: You do not have enough time to run back to the Laboratory once the robot has entered the Grand Corridor.
2 of 12: There must be some way to activate both the laser and the elevator at roughly the same time.
3 of 12: But to do so would mean that the elevator must be able to be operated from within the Laboratory...
4 of 12: ...or the laser must be able to be operated from the Grand Corridor.
5 of 12: The elevator only works when the buttons are pressed.
6 of 12: There doesn't seem to be any way to activate the buttons remotely.
7 of 12: So we'll need to focus on operating the laser from outside the Laboratory.
8 of 12: The laser is turned on and off with a switch.
9 of 12: Perhaps that switch can be activated from outside the room.
10 of 12: Like, if you could tie a really long string to it...
11 of 12: Tie a piece of rope to the laser device.
12 of 12: Now you can activate the laser any time you are standing by the elevator, by pulling on the rope. The rope will be hanging out of a vent in the wall, located a bit higher on the wall than the buttons for the elevator.
