The Mystery of the Nautilus Hints
How do I operate these chain things?
of 9: The chains control the protective shutters on the windows of the Lounge.
of 9: It won't be possible to operate the chains until the ship's power is restored.
of 9: Notice that there are three chains on each side of the room, with a weight on each of the chains.
of 9: It would appear that the chains must be set to a specific position to open the shutters.
of 9: You must determine what position each of the six weights should be in, to cause the shutters to open.
of 9: There is a diagram of the correct position, somewhere in this Stage.
of 9: The diagram can be found in the Cartography Room.
of 9: Look under one of the desk legs for the diagram. Make sure to write down what you see -- you only get one chance to look at the paper (in case you didn't write it down, the solution follows).
of 9: You can move the weights by clicking on them.
