Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill Hints

Playing Tips

  • Most detectives write down important clues as they investigate. You should too! Keep a pen or pencil and a pad of paper handy while playing. Write down numbers and words that look important or out of the ordinary. Draw pictures of special characters or symbols.

SAVE OFTEN, especially after solving a puzzle and before exiting the game.

Everything that Nancy can pick up is important, even if you have no idea why or where it could be used when you first find it.

If you cannot open something at first (a door or box, for instance), make a note of it and come back to it later. Search for a key or other clues to help you with it.

While exploring, remember to look up and down, if you can, as well as left and right. Zoom in on everything possible. Search each room and each screen -carefully- for clickable spots.

When talking to other people in the game, try to ask all the questions to cover all topics. Before exiting their room, click on them again immediately to see if other questions can be asked. (Note: You may wish to save your game before your first conversation, just in case.) Come back to them again often -- especially after talking to the other characters or discovering something new.
