Um ... that's not what it says.
Well, no, but that's what it was supposed to say. It says that 14.2 hands is 58 inches, but that's wrong. A hand is 4 inches, and 58 inches is 14 hands 2 inches, or 14 1/2 hands, which should be written 14.5 rather than 14.2. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's a typo, shall we?
