Nancy Drew and the Secret of Shadow Ranch Hints
I finished something on the task list, but it won't let me check it off.
With most items, you have to leave the immediate area (for example, go from Mary's store out to the yard) before the checklist can be updated. If this doesn't help, it might mean there's another part of that item you haven't done yet. There's at least one item that can't be checked off until you've done it all three days, for example.
In general, don't worry too much about the checklist. You do have to finish all those tasks, but you don't have to actually check everything off to finish the game. If you're sure you've done everything and Nancy still says, "Can't check that off till it's finished," shrug and go on with the game.
