When I got to the bottom of the slide, the ball was gone.
Oh, darn -- when that happens, it means you've run across a bug in the game. Her Interactive has a patch for it (click herehttp://www.herinteractive.com/prod/FAQ/faq.php?action=artikel&cat=11&id=18&artlang=en to get it), but all it will do is keep the ball from disappearing in the future. That means you'll need to restore a previous saved game and go down the slide again.
