Where do I find the missing piece?
1 of 4: In this case, the piece isn't the shape of the hole. Instead, what you want here is a sort of rod or staff.
2 of 4: Look for a statue of this same guy elsewhere in the house.
3 of 4: The statue in the library doesn't look the same as this guy, but as Nigel told you, it's Mercury for all that. The thing you want is the staff in his hand.
4 of 4: Which Nigel's laptop notes say he'll release when the statue points north and looks heavenward.
