Nancy Drew 11: Curse of Blackmoor Manor Hints
What was the significance of the guinea pig?
There are several references to the guinea pig in the game:
-- The picture in Jane's room
-- The note from Uncle Roger at the bottom of the well (which Jane apparently threw down the dry fountain drain in an attempt to get rid of it)
-- Conversations with Linda and Hugh (after you read the note from Uncle Roger)
The game never really spells out what happened to the guinea pig, but it looks like Jane used it as a test subject to see if Uncle Roger's hair creme would work to make it grow hair. Remember how the one in the picture was orange, but Hugh remembered it being black? But apparently the experiment killed it -- so don't try this at home!
