I don't seem to be able to do anything!
The DVD version is much more linear than the PC version. That is, you don't have as many choices about what to do -- you have to do this one thing, then go do the next thing, and then the next, in that order. If you can't do something you think you ought to be doing -- like getting in to see Linda as soon as you arrive -- it means the game wants you to do something else instead, so skip it until later.
If you can't tell what you're supposed to do next (and that happens a lot), look at your checklist. (Both junior and senior have a checklist in the DVD version.) It will tell you what it wants you to do (though it doesn't let you check anything off on the list). If it says you should go rest, go back to Nancy's room and get ready for a new pass code.
