Nancy Drew: The Secret of the Old Clock Hints
What does the story on the new record mean?
1 of 7: It's a weird little story that seems to start in the middle and stop before the end. But in this case, it's not the story that's important.
2 of 7: Did you notice how distinct the sound effects were, and how the narrator stops talking so you can hear them?
3 of 7: And if you were watching the subtitles, you saw that the sound effects are written in red, each on its own line. That's got to mean they're important somehow.
4 of 7: If you've recovered Josiah's trivet, you might have noticed something else about the sound effects.
5 of 7: Each sound effect is represented on the trivet -- horses for the hoofbeats, lightning for the thunder, and so on.
6 of 7: Match the sound effects from the record to the pictures on the trivet and see what you get.
7 of 7: Now write down the word you got (it's another name for the Shakespeare character Josiah loved so much) and use it on the thing in the safe deposit box.
