How do I light up the rest of the symbols?
You can't. I mean, it's certainly possible to use five slugs to make 12 (bell) and seven slugs to make 5 (star), but they don't light up and nothing happens. (If you look above the lights, you'll see that only owl, cherries, square, duck, and eagle have levers connected to them.) The others are just red herrings, I guess.
