What am I supposed to do with the columns?
1 of 5: Go up and look closely at one of them, and Nancy will make a helpful comment.
2 of 5: There's something in the pattern that won't show up until you make a rubbing -- that is, put a piece of paper on top of it and rub across the surface with a crayon or pencil. Nancy has a pencil, but you'll need a piece of paper from somewhere.
3 of 5: You can get one from the kitchen at Buell's --
4 of 5: -- which you can't get into until you ask Fatima for the pickaxe.
5 of 5: To make your rubbing, put the paper on a column, then use the pencil on it. (Which is a bit odd, since I've never seen a pencil that would make a mark on waxed paper -- but, you know, whatever.) Repeat this with all four columns.
